DAE replaces its ATR
The local aviation company Dutch Antilles Express (DAE)’s new management brought back the ATR 42 reposed during the previous administration. The original plans were a short term lease or until the same Lesser could supply DAE with a completely refurbished and overhauled aircraft to serve the routes Curacao, Aruba and Bonaire.
The new ATR 42 went through a very extensive overhaul in Germany in what is known as the Premier ATR Overhail Facility. The new aircraft will arrive early next week. The aircraft was already inspected by the Curacao Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA) inspector who flew to Denmark together with DAE Technical Representatives who signed the Delivery Receipt. The aircraft has already been delivered to DAE.
The aircraft’s journey to her new home for the coming years will take her through the United States. It will become part of DAE’s ATR fleet that by February 2013 will include two additional ATR 72 with 64 passengers capacity. These blue leather seats aircrafts are former American Eagle planes. At the moment they are going through a comprehensive overhaul and pre delivery refurbishment. DAE will invest more than 20 million dollars on the new fleet expansion during the next 3 years starting with the additional ATR 72 early next year.

DAE expands it's fleet to Three MD83
DAE signed an agreement with FALCON AIR for two additional aircraft MD-83. The second aircraft was already inspected by the Curacao authorities this week and will be operating on the route Miami- Curacao.
The third aircraft will be part of the fleet the first week of December 2012 when DAE increases its flight 's to Miami and thereby operate on a daily basis 14 weekly flights between Curaçao and Miami, the airline currently operates 10 weekly flights between Miami and Curacao. "This December there will be no shortage of seats for those who wants to travel to Miami or come to our beautiful Island to see their family or come and visit Us , DAE offers over 600 seats daily with two flights per day, so come reserve your seat now, sure we are going to have great deals "said Ramiz smiling
The carrier will begin flights between Miami and Aruba, Miami and Haiti, Curaçao and Bogotá, and Curaçao and Manaus with the third MD83 aircraft with a capacity of 154 passengers each in two classes, "right now we are requesting or reactivating permits, we do not anticipate any delays as these steps are just formalities since DAE already have rights granted in bilateral agreements and in some cases already operated these routes," explained Ramiz.
"There is much to do before the date of commencement and our team is very busy, I have faith in them and we'll make it," Ramiz highlighted.
