It has come to our attention that a job opening posted on our website the last few weeks looks to be a scam. The posting referenced an airline in Iran called ATA and after applying, pilots received a detailed email re the Interview Process, including the need to make a bank transfer of 12,500 USD.

We believe this to be fraudulent. Do not pay or bank transfer anyone money from overseas. Ever.

Dear candidate,
Congratulations on your positive-evaluated application. You have taken the first, important step in the process of joining Ata Air as a pilot.
However, your application is just the start of the assessment process. Over the next few days, you will participate in the more thorough, detailed part, also referred to as the “Interview & Assessment”.
Ata Air wants its candidate-pilots to be well prepared for this assessment, and so this Guide has been put together. This guide is an aid to the assessment, as well as Ata Air’s expectations from you at this stage, in becoming a future member of the Ata Air pilot community.
You have two options to be employed and join to Ata Air:
First option (in presence): you should attend in date 13/3/2016 in Tehran and participate in the face-to-face interview taken by HR recruitment member. All costs of round-trip ticket, visa, accommodation, food and other costs related to your travel to Iran are your own responsibility. The interview time is 30 minutes and its result will be informed you one days later. If you pass the interview, a official contract will be signed with you. Since you have not type rating Airbus A320, before returning to your country, you must pay the cost of type rating course, which is equivalent $12,500 to Ata Air account. This important issue also has been mentioned in your contract that until you have not completed the type rating course successfully, the company contract with you is invalid. The starting date of the type rating course is almost one or two months later that you will be informed through phone or email via Ata Air.
Second option (in non-presence): this method has been recommended for the welfare of some volunteers to reduce costs in which there is no need for your presence. In this method, you will be interviewed by HR recruitment member through Skype. If you pass the interview successfully, a copy of official contract will be sent to your email that you must sign it and email its scan for us. In addition, you must pay the cost of type rating course to Ata Air account and email to us the scan of the bank receipt along with company contract that you have signed it before. The type rating Airbus A320 course will start one or two months later and you will be informed through phone or email. You must attend in Iran at the specified date, having all your original documents and licences. After the end of type rating course that will be almost 20 days and checking you by a TRI/TRE Pilot, you will be introduced to Flight Operations and you will start your work as First Officer A320 of Ata Air. Therefore, you must select one of the options and announce the result to us through this email so that we contact with you and all necessary coordination to be done with you. To do this, announce us your selected option in your email and also your ability to lump sum pay of all costs of type rating course.

Et ne vous faites aucune illusion c'est une arnaque. D'abord le niveau d'anglais varie beaucoup dans le mail...Mais c'est normal, puisque tout ce qui est en bon anglais a été copié depuis le PDF de recrutement de Wizzair:
