We are looking for professional, hard working individuals willing to join a new generation aviation environment.
CAE as partner has the privilege of providing VOLOTEA with a large number of type-rated B717 pilots. If you are interested in joining an enthusiastic and constantly growing team of aviation professionals as a Captain or as a First Officer, please read the following information carefully and complete the on-line application form at the bottom of this page.
Entry Requirements
Valid JAR ATPL or CPL / IR
Valid JAR class I medical certificate
Unrestricted European Union Passport
ICAO ELP 5 - Spanish, French and/or Italian languages will be a plus
FLIGHT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
CAPTAIN (ATPL) SENIOR FIRST OFFICER (ATPL) FIRST OFFICER (CPL)
5000 hrs total flight time, including:
1500 hrs experience on medium jet as PIC 5000 hrs total flight time, including:
1000 hrs on jet or heavy turboprop 1500 hrs total flight time, including:
500 hrs on commercial operations
Selection Process
Pre-selected applicants will go through the following test:
Personality test English test Simulator Test Aviation knowledge Test Personal / Technical Interview
The location shall be advised when you are invited for the selection process.
Above tests are conducted at one of the CAE Centers.
The cost for this selection process is € 460,-- (excluding taxes) and is non refundable. Other related costs (travel, accommodation, etc.) will be payable by the candidate.
Successful candidates will be scheduled for final interviews with the airline.
The Course
After a successful selection procedure, you will be scheduled for one of the B717 type rating courses. These courses start throughout the year and will take approximately 6 weeks.
Depending on the candidate's experience, an entry-level training or jet familiarization course (four-day course) will be conducted prior to the type qualification course in order to reach the minimum requirements.
