Dear Candidates,

Thank you for your interest in this A320 500 hour Line training program. You will be flying with VFlyAir, an ACMI charter company as an A320 Trainee First Officer.

Do I need to have an A320 type rating?
VFlyAir accepts both rated and non rated candidates but for those non type rated CPL holders, we can assist you in getting an A320 type rating.

What are the requirements of this program ?
VFlyAir accepts all CPL licenses including FAA, ICAO ,EASA , CASA ,etc and all nationalities are accepted. Base training, JOC ,MCC
and a class 1 medical are required as well.

Which airline will I fly with and the location of the line training ?
VFlyAir currently have A320/321 aircraft and it is chartered to airlines in tunisia, africa and southeast asia. VFlyAir will placed you
with their airline partners in either 3 locations depending on the charter operations.

How much would the 500 hour line training program cost?
It is USD 75,000 .

So per hour for a real A320 cost only USD 150 an hour ( 80,000/ 500 hours ). To rent a small aircraft on a multi engine nowadays will easily cost you more
than USD 150 an hour

Who do I sign the contract with?
Once you pass the online interview assessment and if you accept the offer, you will sign direct with VFlyAir

How do I book my slots?

What is the assessment to join this program?
The First step is to send all your latest documents and CV/resume for the approval of the Head of training. If you meet all the requirements,
there will be an online interview so you can do the assessment at the comfort of your home. We will arrange and schedule the online interview
at no cost to you.

When will the interview results be announced ?
VFlyAir will announce it within 2 weeks if you pass or fail the interview assessment.

How long will I complete this 500 hour line training ?
It is estimated to be between 20 - 24 months

If I pass the interview , what will be the next steps?
You will start ground class for a period of 45 working days covering everything about the Airbus A320 SOP, Fuel Tanks, Landing Gear, Safety, Security,
Avionics, and the Dangerous Goods and Human Factor.

You will need to undergo A320 sim refresher cost and the number of sessions depends on the duration of your last completed A320 type rating.
For example, if you complete it within the last 6 months, you only need one session to refresh your skills however subject to your performance,
the Head of Training may decide if you need extra sessions or you can proceed to sim check.

Sim Refresher is at your own cost or you can choose to do with VFlyAir approved TRTO at Euro 400 per hour or Euro 1600 per session.

Once you complete the ground course and sim refresher, you will then proceed to simulator check and interview with VFlyAir partner airlines.

In summary once you pass the interview you will start :-

1) 45 working days of ground course ( Included in the $75k type rating fee )
2) A320 simulator refresher ( Excluded from the $75k type rating fee )
3) Simulator check with VFlyAir partner airlines ( Included in the $75k type rating fee )

What will be the payment structure of this program ?
1) First installment of $15,000 on accepting the offer
2) Second installment of $25,000 before the start of ground course
3) Third installment of $35,000 after you complete the ground course

Will I be offered a job after the 500 hour line training?
Subject to your performance after you clear your 500 hour line training, VFlyAir may offer you a job
but this is subject to VFLyAir manpower requirements and your performance during line training.

Any additional cost on top of the $75,000 line training fee?
1) Base training ( 6 take off and 6 landing on A320 ) at USD 13,500
2) JOC( Jet Orientation Course ) and MCC ( MultiCrew Cooperation Course ) at USD 3250

You do not have to pay item 1 and 2 above if you already have them.

AirTicket, food and accomodation are all excluded in the $75k line training fee.

What about work permit ?
This is included in the line training fee

Will I be paid any salary ?
You with get a monthly allowance of USD 500 once you start your observation flight and throughout the 500 line training program

When can I start the program especially during the current covid 19 restriction and country lockdown ?
VFlyAir intends to start ground class in August 2020 and depending on your country lockdown situation, the company will
schedule the next available slots based on your circumstances.

Si quelqu'un accepte ça ... Encore + avec les incertitudes lié au covid, donc que tu paye ou pas, la boîte où tu "fera" le Line training peux couler ...

Bref si quelqu'un dit oui, il pourra s en prendre qu a lui même si ça foire ...
Et en ce moment, c est pas 800hr de vol dont 500hr de 320 qui va vous donner un taf ... Vu le nombre de mec sur le carreau ...

Quelle horreur ! Moi je dis que si quelqu’un a autant d’argent à perdre pourquoi faire pilote ? Autant faire n’importe quel autre métier et avec cet argent s’acheter un avion et voler pour le plaisir..... ah mince les photos Instagram feront moins envie.....

Nous y voila, 2021, et rien n'a changé, voir tout s'est empiré.

Mixé au vrai problème de nos conditions, aux écolofacho et la fin du monde , voilà que la période actuelle nous rajoute une couche de n'importe-quoi.

Standard disclaimer, si vous avez peur de mourir (ou de contaminer votre grand-mère - j'ai claqué une grosse bise à une proche de 99 ans qui sortait des urgence et est toujours en vie après 1 mois) et que vous croisez quelqu'un dans la rue sans masque (probablement moi), cloitrez-vous chez vous et laissez l'option à ceux qui ne partagent pas vos opinions de vivre normalement.

La paranoia et l'hystérie générale a maintenant donné naissance à des contrats de p2f où la piquouse devient une condition sine qua none pour ne pas se faire virer, à la discretion de la compagnie, et c'est de votre (notre?) faute :
