Etihad Airways currently operates 37 aircraft including the latest generation of Airbus A320,A330-200s, A340- 500s and B777-300s. Etihad will take further delivery of
A340-500, A340-600s, A330-200 and A320 in 2007 and the revolutionary A380 super jumbo which is expected to join the fleet in 2013. Etihad Airways flies to North America, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and the Far East.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 1500 hours total flying time and
A minimum of 1000 hours on multi crew,glass cockpit jet aircraft and
ICAO ATPL,valid licence and medical
Must be current and
Maximum age limit is 53 years old and
English Language Fluency ( written and verbal )
Preference would be given to candidates with Airbus experience
The hours mentioned above shall be on powered fix wing aircraft only

Salary & Benefits:

Starting salary of AED 25480 or US$ 6925 per month for First officers and an annual salary increment of AED 500 per month.
Flight duty allowance of AED 40 per flying hour.
Meal allowance during layovers as per the following rates:
-Middle East/ GCC/ Sub Continent AED 12 per hour
-Asia/ Far East AED 15 per hour
-Africa/ Australasia AED 18 per hour
-Europe/ Americas AED 23 per hour

Benefits:

Housing allowance up to AED 160000 per year.

Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, is pleased to
announce that it will be conducting open day road shows for cockpit crew in
several cities in the United States of America in the month of August.

Etihad Airways has been the fastest growing airline in the world for nearly 4
years in a row and has shown remarkable expansion and progression. We are
continuing our expansion and are looking into increasing both our network and
our fleet; therefore we are looking for experienced, professional pilots to join us.

We will be providing information on all aspects of our pay package and benefits
during our presentations about the airline and our home base Abu Dhabi, which
is the capital of the United Arab Emirates.

The road shows will be conducted by:

Aparemment, Eithad donne un entretien aux pilotes ayant plus de 500 heures sur airbus.
Ils seront a Miami le 27. On verra ce quils me disent.

oui pas facile en ce moment...beaucoup de postulant (plusieurs centaine par mois)...le quota 2008 est atteint (env. 450 pilotes).

oui toujours chez Spirit. j etais a la limite de me faire licencier mais jai pu rester et je suis base a porto rico. ( pas la pire des punitions!)
J etais aujoudrhui a la reunion d informations de ETihad et il sdonnaient des entretiens a peu pres a tous les mecs qui avaient des heures sur Airbus. Abu Dhabi me voila!!!

Je suis alle plusieurs fois a san antonio , cest un de mes vols preferes. les controleurs sont cools et l aeroport est relativement petit.j y etais aussi alle pour ma formation sur le sewer pipe de san antonio!! superbe ville
