salut tout le monde,

Quels sont les minimums pour pouvoir passer l'ATP écrit FAA.Peut on le passer en candidat libre?

Comme il te faut parler anglais je te livre le texte brut..
Sec. 61.35

Knowledge test: Prerequisites and passing grades.

(a) An applicant for a knowledge test must have:
(1) Received an endorsement, if required by this part, from an authorized instructor certifying that the applicant accomplished the appropriate ground-training or a home-study course required by this part for the certificate or rating sought and is prepared for the knowledge test; and
(2) Proper identification at the time of application that contains the applicant's--
(i) Photograph;
(ii) Signature;
(iii) Date of birth, which shows the applicant meets or will meet the age requirements of this part for the certificate sought before the expiration date of the airman knowledge test report; and
(iv) Actual residential address, if different from the applicant's mailing address.
(b) The Administrator shall specify the minimum passing grade for the knowledge test.

Sec. 61.153

Eligibility requirements: General.

To be eligible for an airline transport pilot certificate, a person must:
(a) Be at least 23 years of age;
(b) Be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language. If the applicant is unable to meet one of these requirements due to medical reasons, then the Administrator may place such operating limitations on that applicant's pilot certificate as are necessary for the safe operation of the aircraft;
(c) Be of good moral character;
(d) Meet at least one of the following requirements:
(1) Hold at least a commercial pilot certificate and an instrument rating;
(2) Meet the military experience requirements under Sec. 61.73 of this part to qualify for a commercial pilot certificate, and an instrument rating if the person is a rated military pilot or former rated military pilot of an Armed Force of the United States; or
(3) Hold either a foreign airline transport pilot or foreign commercial pilot license and an instrument rating, without limitations issued by a contracting State to the Convention on International Civil Aviation.
(e) Meet the aeronautical experience requirements of this subpart that apply to the aircraft category and class rating sought before applying for the practical test;
(f) Pass a knowledge test on the aeronautical knowledge areas of Sec. 61.155(c) of this part that apply to the aircraft category and class rating sought;
(g) Pass the practical test on the areas of operation listed in Sec. 61.157(e) of this part that apply to the aircraft category and class rating sought; and
(h) Comply with the sections of this part that apply to the aircraft category and class rating sought.

Donc pas d'examen écrit avant quel âge ?

Merci falcon pour les infos.Il n'y a donc pas un minimum d'heures de vol a avoir???

Il faut donc avoir 21 ans, puisque les théoriques FAA sont valables 2 ans.

Il n'y a pas de minimum d'heures de vol à avoir.

Herta,

Tu n'as pas besoin de passer ton ecrit FAA par correspondance. Je te conseille le GLEIMS CD-ROM. Tu l'achete et tu bosses chez toi le soir ou quand tu as le temps. Quand tu te sens pret tu vas le passer dans un centre d'examen. Ca se passe sur ordinateur et les resultats sont immediats.

En ce qui concerne le test en vol tu n'as pas besoin d'un VISA car l'ATP se passe en candidat libre et donc tu ne viens pas aux US pour prendre des cours de vol.

Ca c'est sure que l'ATPL US et le grand mechant PL europeen...ca n'a rien a voir !!!
L'ecrit de l'ATPL US...80 questions, 70% de bonnes reponses...comme precise ulterieurement, ca se prepare a la maison avec un cdrom ou juste le bouquin (Gleim...Ze best)...Il ya aussi le couple le plus celebre de la formation aero : John et Martha King...ils ont tout ca sur DVD (DVD multizone un must, si tu fais ca d'Europe), avec toutes les questions ET reponses, le son et l'image.
Tu l'as reve John et Martha l'ont fait <IMG SRC="/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif">
Pour la pratique...des boites comme A.T.P. (ca s'invente pas), un peu partout aux US...ca coute entre 900 et presque 2000 $ tout depend du forfait d'heure allouer (si tu es "current" sur la becane)...et hop, une licence toute neuve dans la poche.

A ce propos...Elles sont 'achement belle les nouvelles licences US.
Fini les bout de papier recycle..bonjour le plastique du genre carte de credit ! Pas mal du tout !

Que veut tu dire par pratique? préparation pratique aux ecrits ou bien tests pratiques en vol?!

Test en vol (Checkride).
Ca se deroule la plupart du temps de la facon suivante :
1 a 2 heures d'oral, puis 1 a 2 heures de vol.
Le vol, c'est plus ou moins une test CPL, avec des tolerances tres fines.

salut à tous. je suis nouveau ici avec mon TT et mes 250 h sur DR400. C'est vachement compliqué toutes ces reglementations Eur et US. Est ce vraiment plus simple de devenir pro aux US? Avec ca peut on voler pro en Afrique et en Australie? Merci
