We just got this video. The Ethiopian ATC strike is deeply worrying - the majority are now unqualified, retired, or inexperienced controllers - while the government continues to deny any issue exists. Kenya, the neighboring airspace, says these new "controllers" are causing chaos for them - and blamed this incident on no estimate and no prior coordination from Addis Ababa ATC. The two aircraft - an Ethiopian 737 from Johannesburg-Addis and a Neos 767 from Verona-Zanzibar - were head on at the same level, FL370 - and only a TCAS RA alerted the crew and allowed the 737 to climb out of danger.
